Built around litigator, Steven Ritchie, who joined the firm in October 2009, we now have a focussed and expanding litigation team.
We have considerable experience in dealing with cases for clients in the Sheriff Court, Land Court, Court of Session and Tribunals.

We recognise that there are very often no winners in a dispute. We will work hard to achieve a settlement without the need to litigate. This will sometimes include the use of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. However, you can take comfort in the fact that if you are forced to litigate, you are in safe hands.
We pride ourselves on the impressive commercial aspect to our practice; very few rural legal firms can boast the experience of corporate clients, which we can. Our litigation service is not just an "add on" service when a crisis happens. We aim to build relationships and provide advice over a period of time. That way, a client will hopefully have come to know and trust us before urgent responses are required.
