Archie Millar - Managing Partner
Archie is the firm's managing partner. After qualifying from Dundee University in 1986 he practiced in Tayside with one of the largest firms of solicitors in Scotland latterly as a partner before moving to Orkney in 1998 as a partner with Drever & Heddle. He also became a partner in MacRae Stephen and Company in April 2009, where he oversees much of the firm's involvement with the Fishing Industry, and acts as Secretary to The Scottish White Fish Producer's Association Ltd, and a number of other local businesses. Archie is a general practitioner but specialises in property and private client work including inheritance tax planning and wills.

Derek Rennie - Partner

Originally from Edinburgh, Derek joined MacRae Stephen and Company in April 2009, having previously worked as an assistant in Perthshire and Aberdeen, before becoming a partner in a large North-East Firm where he successfully ran 2 branches of that Firm, until leaving to pursue other avenues. Derek now provides advice in most areas of general practice including Property Sales and Purchases, Wills, Executries, Estate Agency and Family Law. He is also Secretary/Clerk and legal advisor to a number of local organisations and businesses including Fraserburgh Fishsalesmen's Association.

Steven W Ritchie - Solicitor

Steven hails from the Fraserburgh Area. After graduating from the University of Aberdeen in 2006 and obtaining his Diploma in Legal Practice in 2007 he practised in Edinburgh with one of Scotland's largest firms before joining MacRae Stephen & Co in October 2009. George A. MacRae - Consultant

George is a native of Falkirk, obtained his Law Degree from Edinburgh University, served his apprenticeship in Glasgow and acted as a Qualified Assistant in Dunfermline for two years before coming to Fraserburgh. He provides specialist advice on Company and general commercial matters and remains as Clerk to Fraserburgh Harbour Commissioners.

Jane Stephen has been a partner in the firm since 1993 before becoming a consultant in 2009. She gained her Law Degree at Aberdeen University, and was admitted as a solicitor in 1976. She has worked locally since then. Jane provides advice on most areas of general practice including:
